Nigerian dwarf goat milk

Not all goat milk is the same. I have had goat milk which has a “goatey”/gamey taste. This is not the case with our Nigerian dwarf goats’ milk. Our goat milk tastes like very rich cows milk.

Indeed, Nigerian dwarf goat milk has the highest content of butterfat among goats at over 6% butterfat (whole cow’s milk is 4% butterfat). As they are free range, grass fat goats, the goat milk is higher in omega 3 fatty acids compared to conventional goats.

Cheese

We make our own soft cheeses on site: chevre, goat cheese, and mozzarella.

buttermilk and yogurt

The milk is also used to make buttermilk (pancakes and waffles), and yogurt.
